If we want to dig a little bit deeper with this topic, we should focus on the mining machines. Why? It’s because mining industry is full of such spectacular things. One of those will be Bagger 293 - intensely powerful machine, located in Germany and used within the coal mine. This monster is 96 meters high and 225 meters tall and it demands five people to run it. What is really interesting, it is not really a stationary machine - Bagger 293 can ride, but dUE to its dimension and weight the velocity is merely 0,5 km/h.
A different one - called Overburden Bridge F60, happens to be the world's biggest machine which moves on its own. Here is the main part - it is 60 meters high, 502 meters long and two hundred forty meters wide! Can anybody imagine such colossus? It’s just mind blowing, right? And as we mentioned previously, it can ride on its own - the speed is just 0,78 km/h, though. This machine is used as the conveyor inside one of the German open-pit mines. And now something for many who like huge vehicles.
Do you know the machine called Trex RH400? It's the world’s biggest riding excavators. Wonder how large it is - here you go, ten meters high and 1000 ton weight. Seems like a “bit” heavy, right? It can move 85 tons of the mining output at once.
This kind of big machines are really spectacular, especially when we see those in action. There are plenty videos on YouTube where we we can observe how such monsters work.
